Baglio Caruana Cantina & Relais in Montallegro, Sicily

Baglio Caruana Cantina & Relais operates an on-site winery that produces organic wines from its vineyards. Personalized tasting tours introduce guests to the estate's reds and whites, with a behind-the-scenes look at the production facility. On select evenings, a six-course tasting dinner with wine pairing is served.

The hotel offers 12 air-conditioned rooms, some with private terraces overlooking the vineyard. Each room includes a flat-screen TV, a mini fridge, and a private bathroom with toiletries and a hairdryer. Outside, a year-round infinity pool with sun loungers and a shallow end provides countryside views.

A complimentary buffet breakfast with sweet and savory options is served daily, and during summer it moves to the courtyard. The on-site restaurant prepares a set menu of Sicilian vegetarian dishes, using local ingredients. Wine pairing dinners are offered on select evenings, featuring the hotel's organic wines.

The spa & wellness centre includes a sauna, a hot tub, and a jacuzzi, with panoramic views of the countryside. Guests can rent bicycles to explore the surrounding vineyards and rolling hills. A shared lounge and a furnished sun terrace provide additional relaxation areas.
